What’s your name?

My name is Debarati and I will be teaching Science.

What’s your teaching experience?

I have a decade long experience in teaching primary science and O level biology and have taught at various centers like Proteach and School Plus to name a few and currently I am teaching at Dimensions International.

How do you teach that helps students learn efficiently?

Being a well-rounded educator, I have had the opportunity to teach diverse group of primary and high school students, thus enhancing my teaching techniques and instructional methods. As a result, I have developed phenomenal communication, organizational and time management skills. Students under my tutelage have gone from B to A+ grades in a matter of a few months and that gives me immense motivation and satisfaction to push my limits to do better in what I am doing. Furthermore, I have become proficient in developing comprehensive lesson plans, creating stimulating thematic units and accessing individuals and class as a whole.

One of my greatest strength that has developed overtime with my passion for teaching science as an educator is instilling the hunger for knowledge in my students. I am passionate about science and am adept on passing this to my students. I accomplish this by explaining the concepts to the students and try to relate it to their everyday life so that they get more interest and can learn better.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

I have loved teaching since childhood. Now, as an adult as I am in the teaching profession, it gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to enrich students with knowledge and make them understand how to apply it in their daily lives.

What’s one fun fact about you?

During my leisure time I love to imagine, if I had a superpower how different would my life be.
