How to start teaching on Learner Net
1.Application
On our application, we ask prospective tutors for a comprehensive history of their educational background and teaching experience. We review the applications to identify candidates who meet our high academic standards.
2.Video Interview
We interview each and every one of our tutors via Zoom as we believe it is important for us to meet every potential Learner Net educator. This will allow us to evaluate educators even more closely and we will use this session to gauge their level of IT proficiency, their teaching style, values and professionalism.
3.Onboarding
We have a dedicated tutor support team at Learner Net to onboard and continuously support all of our tutors. Other than helping tutors upload courses onto our website, we help tutors find ways to increase organic traffic to their courses by inviting them to join marketing campaigns that we come up with on a monthly basis.

I have been teaching on Learner Net ever since they launched in June earlier this year, and it has been a really fruitful experience! Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I was given a chance to make use of an alternative platform to continue teaching students.
The team at Learner Net made sure that teachers are able to focus on just teaching students as all admin procedures are handled by the team and everything is hassle-free. I was initially worried about the communication with parents of students, but with prompt customer support, Learner Net is able to connect teachers and parents well to ensure that all lessons can be conducted smoothly.

What topics should I offer?
We encourage you to teach classes on topics you are passionate about and experienced with, and ideally that you have taught before. We welcome classes on all subjects and in all formats, for learners up to age 18. We generally suggest offering a range of classes including short-form introductory classes that meet 1-4 times, as well as longer form semester-long classes.

Who can teach?
We believe that many adults can offer rewarding classes based on their experience and interests. Learner Net does not require formal teaching credentials although many of them have at least 2 years of teaching experience. Any teacher with zero to two years of experience will be encouraged to charge lower rates.

What is the benefit of becoming a Learner Net educator?
We typically work with home tutors and private tutors who are short of manpower support. We know that being a teacher requires lots of preparation work and developing of curriculum from time to time.
When you list your classes on learner net as a online tutor, you are known to potential student/parents on our platform as a tutor competent in conducting online classes in your area of expertise.
If you do not have a personal website, by listing your courses with us provides you a dedicated teacher profile page and courses listing pages that you can use to share with potential clients. You have a dedicated customer support team that handles enquires for you.
Upon a successful enrollment, you will be provided a dedicated zoom meeting room and digital classroom to conduct your teaching online. If you have any change in lesson dates or a new course that you will like to list,all you need to do is to get in touch with us. No IT skills required to manage your own course page and profile page. To summarize,benefit to you includes administrative, IT support, software support, marketing etc. You will just need to focus on your teaching and ensuring your students get a good takeaway. -
What does it cost? And how do I get paid?
There is 0 cost to you when you list classes on Learner Net. We take a 30% service fee from successful paid enrollment.
For example, if its a free trial class, there is no commission charges to you until a student decideds to enrol with you after the trial class and thereby making payment. You have full control over the listed price for a class and number of students in a class. Payments will be made to teachers on every 14th and 28th of the month via bank transfer. -
