Afghanistan Lower Secondary School Syllabus (Grades 7-9) - Pashto

Lower secondary education in Afghanistan spans grades 7 through 9 and is designed for students aged 12 to 15. The curriculum includes general education subjects. Pashto is one of the local languages taught, alongside Dari. Other subjects include mathematics, biology, and a foreign language (often English).

While general subject areas are identified, a comprehensive, publicly available syllabus detailing specific learning objectives, content, and assessment criteria for Pashto at the lower secondary level remains elusive.

A Pashto Grade Seven textbook is available from the Ministry of Education of Afghanistan. However, further details about the curriculum for grades 8 and 9 are not readily accessible.
