UAE Ministry of Education Grade 7 Curriculum - Social Studies/Moral Education
Moral Education
Moral education in the UAE for Grade 7 focuses on fostering universal values, enabling students to interact peacefully with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds. The curriculum encourages exploring ethical issues and developing awareness of one's own values, rather than imposing a specific set of values. The program emphasizes inclusive group work and student-driven learning. Key learning objectives include developing moral thinking within the context of family, social environment, and community; focusing on local Emirati heritage, archaeology, and cultural preservation; and concentrating on Emirati history, trade, travel, governance, and global citizenship. The Moral Education program covers four pillars: Character and Morality, The Individual and the Community, Civic Studies, and Cultural Studies.
