What’s your name?

My name is Hardik Bhimajiyani and I am a Mathematics teacher.

What’s your teaching experience?

I have teaching experience of 5+ years. From July 2016 to June 2017 I have worked with DIVINE CHILD HIGH SCHOOL as an 9th and 10th Mathematics teacher and after that, I was appointed as a coordinator to handle its another branch RINKU INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE where I worked from July 2017 to December 2018. After that in January 2019 I joined Fountainhead School (IB- MYP) where from January 2019 to May 2020 I worked as an MYP grade 10 Mathematics teacher and from June 2020 working as an MYP grade 10 Mathematics team leader till date.

How do you teach that helps students learn efficiently?

Since Mathematics is a subject where most of the students feel that why they are studying these many mathematical concepts and where they are going to be used in real-life, I always take the explanation of all concepts by making real-life connections through activity/exploration tasks. I always aim for nurturing students with mathematical skills required in real life this makes it easy for students and they get the purpose to learn and eventually it leads to effective learning in the class.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

To be very honest my favorite subject from childhood is Mathematics and so I have always topped in this subject from school days. Teaching the area of interest and making a difference in the life of students to create a better society are the main reasons why I enjoy teaching a lot.

What’s one fun fact about you?

In my childhood during any free time instead of playing different games, I was more into practicing mathematical problems.
