What’s your name?

My name is Harsha and I am a preschool teacher.

What’s your teaching experience?

I am a  pre-school teacher with experience of 7 years. I have taught children from age 6 to 13 years. I have been teaching pre-literacy skills to the children for the past 7 years, also have worked as an English educator with Vedantu in helping children to improve their reading and comprehending skills.

What qualifications do you have?

Diploma in Pre-primary teachers training

Currently pursuing Bachelor of education

This teaching strategy is used when students need guided support to practise and apply new phonics skills and concepts.

3 INDEPENDENT TEACHING

This teaching strategy is used when students need minimal support to apply and demonstrate new phonics skills.

Why do you enjoy teaching?

Working as a preschool teacher for 7 years has given me immense pleasure which in turn has encouraged me to learn and implement new techniques of teaching for preschoolers. I especially love the moments when my children read and comprehend the given passage independently. Also when they take joy in writing a passage using the spelling rules taught to them.

What’s one fun fact about you?

My teaching involves a lot of fun facts like making fun of letters and their formations, making funny sentences to understand the meaning of unknown words, and making sentences that relate to their real life situations.
