Mathematics:
The allocated instructional time for Mathematics in Grades 1-2 is 256 hours (40 minutes per hour), which can be adjusted based on various factors. The curriculum emphasizes problem-solving, communicating, and reasoning skills.

General Curriculum Information:
- Instructional Time: The total instructional hours for Grades 1-2 are 1744, based on 34 weeks of teaching per year. This can be adjusted based on factors such as weather, student development, and school circumstances.
- Curriculum Flexibility: Schools have some flexibility in adjusting instructional hours (up to 20% per subject) and implementing intensive courses. However, instructional time for Physical Education and Arts cannot be reduced.
- Cross-Curricular Themes: Themes such as Safety, Health Education, Character Education, and Career Education are integrated throughout the curriculum.
- Implementation: The 2015 revised curriculum was implemented for Grades 1 and 2 starting March 1, 2017.
