My name is Maria Pia Mangabat Cano. But you may call me Teacher Pia. I have been teaching since 1988 and I started at 17 years old juggling teaching piano and voice and pursuing my music degree in St. Paul’s College of Manila.

I believe the students enjoy my music class because they feel my passion for music is equal to my passion for teaching. I give my best effort to make learning fun and interesting. I enjoy teaching because it is something that I dreamed of, I have grown to love, and what you love you will always enjoy doing. I am animatedly friendly. I am interested in people as much as I am an interesting person.
