Saint Vincent and the Grenadines CXC CAPE Subjects - Economics
The Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) Economics program is offered at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC). The program follows the CXC CAPE Economics syllabus.
Entry Requirements: To qualify for entry into the CAPE program, students must have a minimum of five CSEC (CXC) General Proficiency passes (Grades I, II, or III) or their equivalent, including English A (Language). For the Economics subject specifically, a Grade I or II in CSEC Economics or its equivalent is required.
Recent Performance: In the 2024 CAPE results, SVGCC recorded 100% passes in at least one of the two units for 16 out of 23 subjects offered. A total of 397 candidates sat the CAPE exams, with 384 from SVGCC and 13 private candidates.
