Serbia 8th Grade History Curriculum

The history curriculum in Serbian primary schools covers Serbian history from ancient times to the present day. In the 8th grade, a significant focus is placed on the 20th century, particularly the breakup of Yugoslavia. This period is explored through topics such as the civil war and the conflicts in Bosnia, Croatia, and Kosovo. Textbooks used for this period have been criticized for presenting a biased perspective.
