Seychelles S1 Curriculum - French (introduced as a foreign language)

French is one of the three official languages of Seychelles, alongside Seychellois Creole and English. While Seychellois Creole is the most commonly spoken language, English is gradually introduced as the language of instruction after primary school. French is introduced as a foreign language, typically around grade 6.

The Seychelles Ministry of Education oversees the curriculum, and while specific S1 French syllabus details are not readily available, some resources for teachers and students can be found on their website. Efforts have been made to strengthen French language education in Seychelles.
