Slovenian Sign Language (SZJ)

Slovenian Sign Language (SZJ) is the language of the deaf community in Slovenia. It was legally recognized as an official language in Slovenia in 2019. The Slovenian constitution guarantees the free use and development of SZJ. While SZJ is offered as an optional subject in Slovenian schools, the specific curriculum for 8th grade remains elusive. There are various resources available for learning Slovenian Sign Language, including dictionaries and online courses. Further research is needed to obtain the 8th-grade curriculum details.
