Slovenia Matura Exam Subjects - French
The Matura exam in Slovenia is a national examination taken at the end of secondary education, similar to A-Levels, the Abitur, or the Baccalauréat. It is required for entry into university. The Matura consists of five subjects. Three subjects are compulsory:
- Mother Tongue: Slovenian, Hungarian, or Italian (depending on the region).
- Mathematics:
- Foreign Language: Students can choose from English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Russian.
Two additional subjects are chosen by the student.
French as a Matura Subject:
French can be chosen as the foreign language requirement. The French exam has two levels:

Both levels include written and oral components.
