South Africa Grade 12 Dance Studies

This course covers the history and development of dance, different dance styles and forms, and the technical aspects of dance. It involves skills, attitudes, and values. The Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS) outlines the subject's nature and purpose.

Assessment

The Grade 12 Programme of Assessment comprises tasks undertaken during the school year, contributing 25% to the final mark. There is one practical assessment task (PAT). The NSC P2 examination is compulsory.
