South Sudan Secondary 1 History Curriculum
This curriculum focuses on the history of South Sudan, comparing it with 20th-century global developments and post-colonial Africa. Emphasis is placed on understanding historical events and their significance, rather than memorizing dates. The curriculum aims to develop critical thinking, communication, and cooperation skills, within a context of South Sudanese culture and heritage. Values such as human rights, gender equality, respect, tolerance, compassion, social justice, democracy, and national pride are emphasized.
