Economics

The Advanced Level Economics syllabus covers fundamental economic ideas, including the price system, government intervention, international trade and exchange rates, employment and inflation measurement, and the causes and consequences of inflation. It also includes fiscal policy, encompassing definitions, objectives, government revenue, tax revenue, objectives of imposing taxes, principles of taxation, and tax classification. A competency-based curriculum has been introduced, considering global trends and contemporary changes in economics. Information Technology (IT)

The Advanced Level ICT syllabus covers core theoretical and practical concepts of ICT. It aims to strengthen students' ICT skills and prepare them for further studies or applying ICT in daily work. A detailed syllabus breakdown is available. The Grade 12 General Information Technology syllabus focuses on enabling students to select appropriate ICT courses, identify relevant computer applications, and use ICT for daily activities. ICT is offered in the Technology stream, and under the recent syllabus, candidates can choose between Chemistry and ICT.
