Sudan Basic Level Primary 5 Mathematics Curriculum
This curriculum is based on the Primary Mathematics 5 Pupil's Book developed by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction, Government of South Sudan. The book aims to provide a fun, practical approach to mathematics while imparting lifelong skills.

- Roman numerals and Hindu-Arabic numbers up to 50.
- Factors and multiples.
- Finding the Highest Common Factor (HCF) and Least Common Multiple (LCM).
- Adding and subtracting fractions using LCM.
- Fractions and decimals (conversion between the two).
Unit 2: Measurement
- Converting between meters and kilometers.
- Calculating the area of rectangles and squares.
- Calculating the volume of cubes and cuboids.
- Time.
- Measuring temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Unit 3: Geometry
- Constructing parallel lines.
- Constructing angles (30°, 60°, 90°, 45°).
- Lines of symmetry.
Unit 4: Algebra
- Purpose of algebraic equations.
- Solving algebraic equations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Forming and solving algebraic equations.
Unit 5: Statistics
- Why data is collected.
- Methods of data collection (observation, interviews, questionnaires, experiments).
- Steps in data collection.
- Representing data (bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts).
