Vehicle and Transport Programme (Fordons- och transportprogrammet)

This vocational programme prepares students for careers in the automotive and transport industries. The programme offers a blend of theoretical and practical training, equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed for various roles within these sectors.

Specializations (Inriktningar)

The Vehicle and Transport Programme offers four specializations:

• Car Body and Paint (Karosseri och lackering): This specialization focuses on repairing and refinishing vehicle bodies. Students learn techniques in dent removal, welding, painting, and surface treatment.
• Truck and Mobile Machinery (Lastbil och mobila maskiner): This specialization focuses on the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles and mobile machinery. Students learn about diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and other related components.
• Passenger Vehicle (Personbil): This specialization focuses on the maintenance and repair of passenger vehicles. Students learn about engine systems, braking systems, transmission systems, and other related components.
• Transport (Transport): This specialization focuses on logistics, traffic regulations, and transport systems. Students learn about route planning, cargo handling, and other aspects of the transport industry.

Further Education

Starting Autumn 2023, the programme offers eligibility for higher education, allowing graduates to pursue university studies, vocational college, or other post-secondary options.

Driving Licence Opportunities

Students in the Vehicle and Transport Programme have the opportunity to obtain a driving licence (B-körkort) during their studies. Depending on the chosen specialization, they may also have the opportunity to obtain C and E licences.
