Hotel and Tourism Programme (Hotell- och turismprogrammet)
This vocational programme prepares students for work in the tourism and hospitality industry. It provides practical training and theoretical knowledge in various areas, including customer service, communication, languages, planning, management, and economics. The programme also covers topics such as sustainable tourism, laws and regulations within the industry, and the historical and future perspectives of the tourism sector. As of 2023, the program also provides eligibility for university studies.
Curriculum
The Hotel and Tourism Programme includes core subjects such as English, History, Physical Education and Health, Mathematics, Natural Science, Religious Studies, Social Studies, and Swedish.
In addition to the core subjects, the programme includes specialized courses in the following areas:
