Swedish Gymnasieskolan Curriculum - Vehicle and Transport Program (Fordons- och transportprogrammet)

This program offers specializations in vehicle mechanics, logistics, and transport management. It provides a vocational education path for students interested in working with vehicles. The program also offers the opportunity to obtain a driver's license. As of 2023, the program provides eligibility for higher education.

Specializations (Inriktningar)

The Vehicle and Transport Program offers four specializations:

• Godshantering (Goods Handling): This specialization focuses on goods handling systems and logistics. It prepares students for work in warehouses and terminals. Students learn about various systems for goods handling.
• Karosseri och lackering (Carpentry and Painting): This specialization teaches students about working with materials like sheet metal, foil, and paint, as well as vehicle repairs. Students learn about damage assessment, repair of car bodies, and painting techniques. Some programs offer a two-year apprenticeship in painting or car body repair.
• Lastbil och mobila maskiner (Truck and Mobile Machines): This specialization focuses on the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of heavy vehicles and mobile machinery. Students learn about diagnostics, component and circuit measurements, and service techniques.
• Personbil (Passenger Car): This specialization focuses on the diagnostics, repair, and service of light vehicles. Students learn troubleshooting and repair techniques for passenger cars. Some schools offer a B driver's license as part of the program.
