Russian Language Education in Tajikistan

Russian language instruction is prevalent in Tajikistan's education system. Russian is taught alongside Tajik, the primary language of instruction, in many schools. There are also Russian-only schools operating within the country. The Aga Khan Schools in Tajikistan offer a curriculum in three languages: English, Russian, and Tajik. While the exact curriculum for Grade 10 Russian language is not readily available, Russian language learning is present throughout secondary education in Tajikistan. Various learning resources, including textbooks, are utilized in the educational process. USAID has been involved in developing educational materials in both Tajik and Russian languages.
