Main Competence: Writing
This main competence is broken down into three specific competences:
- Develop Pre-writing Skills: This focuses on building the foundational motor skills necessary for writing. Activities include practicing pencil grip, correct sitting posture, and molding letter shapes.
- Develop Basic Writing Skills: This involves learning to write small and capital letters step-by-step, joining letters to form simple words, and joining words to form simple sentences.
- Apply Basic Writing Skills: This competence aims to apply the learned skills by writing simple texts and using basic punctuation marks, such as full stops, commas, and question marks.

The Writing Standard Pupil's Book is used for handwriting instruction. It starts with pre-writing exercises and gradually introduces unjoined letters, progressing to continuous cursive writing in Standard 2. |
