Music Clubs (Tunisia88)

Tunisia88 is a nationwide program that establishes and supports student-led after-school music clubs in all public Tunisian high schools. These clubs provide opportunities for students to explore various musical activities, develop leadership skills, and engage with their communities. As of 2024, the program supports 590 music clubs across the country.

Activities:

The Tunisia88 clubs follow an annual cycle of activities:

• Leadership Training: Focuses on developing social cohesion and teamwork among club members.
• Creativity Training: Equips students with the skills to compose their own songs, including writing lyrics, creating melodies, and developing musical messages. Students also create their own music videos.
• Concerts and Events: Clubs organize musical events within their communities and participate in nationwide competitions for best song and best event. These activities are entirely student-led.
• Regional Choirs: Students can audition for regional choirs, which participate in Tunisia88 public events and concerts.

• High school concerts
• Public concerts
• Private concerts
