Turkey Lise Geometry Curriculum

The Turkish education system mandates twelve years of education, encompassing five years of elementary school, three years of lower secondary school, and four years of upper secondary school (Lise). Secondary education (Lise) is compulsory for students aged 14 to 18.

The Ministry of National Education in Turkey oversees the curriculum. While specific details about the Lise 12 Geometry curriculum are not readily available, the mathematics curriculum generally emphasizes conceptual and procedural understanding. The high school mathematics curriculum often includes topics such as advanced algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics. In lower secondary school (grades 6-8), the mathematics curriculum covers five learning areas: Numbers, Geometry, Measurement, Probability and Statistics, and Algebra. Some high schools offer mathematics and science courses in English.
