Uganda Senior Six (S6) Art and Design

This course is a continuation of the Ordinary Level Art and Design syllabus (Lower Secondary Education). It introduces the learner to four major topics:

1. Drawing and Painting II: This topic builds upon skills developed at the O-Level. Students refine their techniques in observational drawing, painting from still life and nature, and imaginative compositions.

2. Graphic Design II (Crafts A): Students explore various graphic design principles and techniques, including illustrations, printmaking, and other related crafts.

3. Crafts B II: This topic focuses on three-dimensional design and the creation of crafts using various materials.

4. History and Appreciation of Art II: Students study art history, focusing on Ugandan contemporary art and other relevant art movements. This includes analyzing artworks and understanding their cultural and historical contexts.

The syllabus aims to develop students' creativity, critical thinking, and technical skills in art and design.
