Ukraine 8th Grade Curriculum - Ukrainian Language

This curriculum emphasizes the importance of Ukrainian language education for life skills, rather than solely for professional development or standardized testing. The curriculum aims to develop language and speech knowledge, abilities, and skills applicable across various life aspects, considering students' age, needs, and interests. It covers essential language functions: worldview development, unification, cognition, and personal growth.

Lesson Development Resources:

A manual with lesson syllabi templates aligned with the current program is available for 8th-grade Ukrainian language teachers. This manual is based on the textbook by MI Pentilyuk, SA Omelchuk, IV Gaidaenko, and AI Lyashkevych. It includes a scratch card for downloading a free electronic application containing a calendar-thematic plan and additional materials for teachers. These resources can be edited and printed using Microsoft Word.

Online Courses:

Online courses aligned with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine are also available for all grades, including 8th grade. These courses adhere to the recommendations and program of the Ministry and are designed to help students prepare for the NMT (ZNO).
