Plants
Plants require several key elements for survival and growth: air, light, water, nutrients from the soil, and space to grow. These needs can vary between different types of plants. The main parts of a flowering plant are the roots, stem/trunk, leaves, and flowers. Roots anchor the plant and absorb water and nutrients from the soil. The stem provides support and transports water and nutrients throughout the plant. Leaves are the primary sites for photosynthesis, where the plant converts light energy into food. Flowers are involved in reproduction. Water is essential for plant growth and is transported within the plant. The life cycle of a flowering plant includes pollination, seed formation, and seed dispersal.
