Uzbekistan Grade 11 Curriculum (WIST) - History (Optional)

Westminster International School in Tashkent (WIST) offers a two-year IGCSE program, which includes History as an optional subject. Students in Year 10 and Year 11 work towards the Cambridge IGCSE History qualification. The curriculum follows the Cambridge IGCSE History syllabus, which covers major international issues of the 19th and 20th centuries, along with the history of specific regions. The specific topics covered in Grade 11 (Year 11) would depend on the options selected within the Cambridge IGCSE History syllabus. Students completing the program receive a certificate of completion of secondary education. WIST celebrated the graduation of its Year 11 and Year 13 students in June 2024, marking the completion of their IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
