Venezuela Bachillerato Curriculum - Participación en Grupos de Creación, Recreación y Producción
This course encourages students to develop skills and knowledge through practical application and community engagement. It emphasizes hands-on learning, creativity, and collaboration, connecting classroom learning with real-world experiences. The curriculum aims to foster a sense of social responsibility and promote the development of productive citizens.

- Occupy the Mind: Students actively learn through participation in diverse activities, bridging the gap between manual and intellectual work.
- Occupy the Hands: Learning by doing is emphasized, with students actively engaged in practical projects.
- Occupy the Heart: Students are encouraged to choose activities they enjoy, fostering commitment and enthusiasm.
- Practice Coexistence: Collaboration, mutual support, and respect for diversity are promoted within group activities.
Course Structure:
Students participate in groups based on their interests, regardless of their grade level. These groups are organized around four components:
- Art and Heritage: This component focuses on artistic expression through activities such as student bands, choirs, dance groups, theater, and visual arts.
- Scientific, Social, and Community Action: This component encourages social responsibility through activities such as environmental brigades, health brigades, community support, and school patrols.
- Physical Activity, Sports, and Recreation: This component promotes physical and emotional well-being through participation in team sports, individual sports, and recreational activities.
- Production of Goods and Services: This component aims to overcome the division between manual and intellectual labor by engaging students in practical projects such as electrical repair, maintenance, construction, and carpentry.
Proyectos Socio Productivos (PSP):
These projects integrate school and community, fostering a culture of collective work and contributing to the productive development of the country. Students play a leading role in these projects, which are often aligned with national development plans and programs.
El Conuco Escolar:
The school garden is an integral part of the curriculum, promoting agricultural knowledge, environmental awareness, and teamwork. Students participate in all aspects of gardening, from planting and caring for crops to harvesting and consumption. This connects classroom learning to real-world applications and fosters a deeper understanding of the importance of agriculture and environmental sustainability. |
