Venezuela Educación Media Diversificada - Bachiller en Humanidades

Bachiller en Humanidades is a track within the Venezuelan Educación Media Diversificada (Diversified Secondary Education). This level follows nine years of Educación Básica (Basic Education) and corresponds to grades 10 and 11, typically for students aged 15-17. It prepares students for university studies in humanities-related fields.

The Venezuelan education system has undergone various curricular reforms. A new curriculum for Educación Media was planned for the 2023-2024 school year. This curriculum update follows previous reforms in the initial and basic education levels. The curriculum aims to provide a general education and prepare students for higher education or the workforce. The Bachiller title is awarded upon completion of this level. A new schedule for basic, middle, and diversified education levels was also implemented.
