Vietnam Grade 6 Physical Education Curriculum

Physical Education in Vietnam is a compulsory subject at all educational levels, including Grade 6, as part of the general education program. It aims to equip students with basic motor skills and knowledge, cultivate healthy exercise habits, and contribute to their overall development.

The curriculum is set by the Ministry of Education and Training and covers the scope and structure of content, teaching methods, activity organization, and evaluation methods. The curriculum emphasizes the integration of physical activity with nutrition for comprehensive student development. Schools are encouraged to implement morning and midday exercises tailored to students' age and school conditions. Furthermore, schools are encouraged to offer diverse sports activities, including traditional sports and self-defense martial arts. Swimming programs are also promoted, with schools advised to create plans for implementation.
