Vietnam Grade 7 Curriculum - Optional Subjects

Optional Subjects

Students in Grade 7 have the option to study Ethnic Minority Language or a second Foreign Language in addition to the core curriculum. These optional subjects are allocated 105 periods per school year.

• Ethnic Minority Language: This option allows students from ethnic minority groups to study their native language.
• Foreign Language 2: Students can choose to study a second foreign language in addition to the compulsory first foreign language (often English). Common choices include French, Japanese, and Chinese.
