Yemen Grade 12 Physics (Scientific) Curriculum

The Yemen Grade 12 Physics (Scientific) curriculum is part of the scientific track for university preparation. A study has been conducted to analyze the inclusion of science process skills (SPS) in the 10th-12th grade physics textbooks. Another study ranked Science, Technology, and Society (STS) issues by students and teachers in secondary school. A newer study (August 2024) investigated the extent to which the Yemeni secondary physics curriculum aligns with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). A new curriculum for grades 1-6 was implemented in 2000, followed by grades 7-9 in 2001, grades 10-11 in 2002, and grade 12 in 2003.
