- Programming and Pseudocode Algorithms: This topic introduces programming terminology, algorithm development using pseudocode, various structures like loops and decision-making, and the use of dry runs with trace tables for code understanding.
- Logic Gates, Circuits, and Website Designing: Learners will define the functions of logic gates, create truth tables, design simple logic circuits, and gain an introduction to website design using templates, importing text and pictures, and basic animation.
- Networks and Data Communication: This section covers computer networks, data communication, network purposes and limitations, elements of networking, network types and topologies, data capture and checking, data protection legislation, computer crime, computer viruses, internet security, and recent developments in internet usage.
- Computer Systems: Learners will distinguish between different types of computer systems, understand the needs of various systems, explore automation and robotics applications, learn about expert systems and artificial intelligence, and understand the management of computer systems.
