Bible Knowledge (O-Level)
This course explores Christian origins, focusing on the life and teachings of Jesus as presented in the Gospel of Luke and the development of the early church as documented in the Acts of the Apostles. Students are encouraged to develop a critical approach to biblical texts and explore the religious, ethical, and historical questions they raise. The syllabus is accessible to learners of all faiths and utilizes both the New International Version and the Revised Standard Version of the Bible.
Note: The Cambridge O Level Religious Studies (Bible Knowledge) (2048) syllabus has been replaced by the Cambridge O Level Biblical Studies (2035) syllabus, with the last assessment for the 2048 syllabus taking place in November 2023. The first assessment of the new 2035 syllabus will be in 2024. A study pack designed for both ZIMSEC and Cambridge Bible Knowledge O-Level students is also available. |
